PGMall Collaborates With GrabExpress Offering 2 hours Delivery Services In Major Cities Across Malaysia

After a successful preliminary collaboration with GrabExpress to roll out same day express delivery service in Klang Valley, PGMall is now ready to expand this delivery service with an upgrade to ‘delivery within 2 hours’ timeframe, to other major cities in Malaysia, offering better convenience to community across Peninsula Malaysia.

Established in 2007, PGMall aspires to grow and push homegrown brands to global frontier under the brand tagline ‘Bridging Local To The World’, through its very own unique Sharing Economy business model called Consumerchant. As a preliminary collaboration with GrabExpress, PGMall had first rolled out the same day express delivery facility in Klang Valley in August 2021 to gauge market response, to which it has been successful and garnered overwhelming response from shoppers. With that, PGMall is now ready to take it on to the next level by extending this express delivery facility with an upgrade to delivery within 2 hours timeframe from order time, to other parts of Peninsula Malaysia, particularly in major cities such as Penang, Ipoh, Melaka, Johor (Muar, Kluang, Batu Pahat, Johor Bahru), Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu, where demand is high. 

According to Mr. Jerry Ng, Chief Operating Officer of PGMall, “This same day express delivery facility is particularly useful for urgent deliveries, especially involving essential goods. With the efficiency of the GrabExpress team, we are now able to have our shoppers’ local orders delivered within 2 hours from the order time. This would definitely offer much more convenience to our shoppers, especially during peak hours of the day where traffic is high at major roads in the city. Also with this facility, shoppers could now shop from the comfort of their home or office and have their goods delivered to them in mere hours.”

“Not just that, with the presence of Omicron, the new Variant of Concern (VOC) of COVID-19, we want to encourage Malaysians to refrain from shopping at crowded places, to prevent the surge in COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. We hope with this express 2-hour delivery facility, we could play a part in putting the pandemic under control. Currently, PGMall is the only e-Commerce platform of its kind that has collaborated with GrabExpress and integrated this as one of our shipping options,” Ng added.
