Buka Puasa with 300 Dishes at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort


For the 12th year running, Tropicana Golf & Country Resort (TGCR) is hosting Santapan 29 Malam throughout the entire clubhouse, where for 30 consecutive days, from 6 June to 5 July 2016, guests can enjoy authentic Malay cuisine while listening to traditional contemporary Ghazal tunes. Diners can feast on a variety of 300 dishes which include “kampung” favourites such as Warung Gulai Kawah, Aneka Soup Tropicana, Kambing Golek Tropicana, Soup Gearbox Kambing, keropok lekor and Gulai Kawah with Bubur Lambuk. This year, the Executive Chef and team are introducing new dishes to the extensive menu including the spicy Sotong Raja, Deep Fried Ice-Cream, Rojak Kelantan served with Thai sauce, Nasi Kerabu and Fried Corn on the cob.

Salad lovers will love the vast vegetable and ulam selection including broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, carrots, corn, mesclun salad, beetroot, stuffed olives, black olives, capers, ulam raja, daun pegaga, cekor, petai, jering and more. The fruit tower takes center stage offering a delicious variety of local fruits like jackfruit, pineapple, watermelon, rambutans, duku langsat, mangosteen and papaya among others. After a hearty dinner, indulge in delectable desserts such as A.B.C., kaya balls, crispy apam balik, bubur pulut hitam, green beans soup, bubur cha-cha and decadent cakes. Diners can also quench their thirst with hot beverages including TGCR’s highly acclaimed teh tarik.

With a seating capacity of 2,400 pax, stretching from the Palm Coffee House, the Golfers Terrace, Golfers Lounge, Grand Ballroom, Poolside and to the Spanish Courtyard, there’s room for everyone. Special dining packages for corporate clients can be organised upon request, to TGCR’s specialised menu packages from RM108 nett per pax.
