5 September marked the launch of Malaysia’s most comprehensive logistics and warehousing trade exhibition, the Malaysia International Logistics and Warehousing Solutions Exhibition, widely known as LogisWare.
Back for its third iteration, this year’s LogisWare continues the event’s tradition of wide recognition from government bodies and related industries, as endorsed by the Ministry of Transportation, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation and Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), while supporting and connecting exhibitors and visitors.
This year, the event is expected to attract over 5,000 trade visitors. The dynamics of LogisWare 2018 are designed for market players and industry stakeholders, government agents, and other parties ready to take the next big leap in the logistics and warehousing industry to explore greater business opportunities as well as the latest technology in both the local and international markets.
In total, LogisWare 2018 covers a gross area of 2,886 sq m, encompassing exhibitors providing a value chain of products, services and technologies ranging from storage systems, industrial vehicles, specially equipped vehicles, carries, pallets, information systems and software, warehousing solutions and more.
Visitors can also expect an exciting Forklift Competition, held for the first time in Malaysia, during the trade event.
“We are truly excited to have this forklift competition held at LogisWare 2018, not just to gain insights or latest offerings in logistics and warehousing products, services and technology, but also because we want the industry stakeholders who are our visitors to learn more about the importance of safety and efficient use of the forklift, especially those from the warehousing and manufacturing sectors. This is not only about workplace safety, but also one of the crucial steps in improving the overall efficiency of their business operations,” said Roger Lim, Managing Director, One International Exhibition Sdn Bhd, the organiser of the event.
The Forklift Competition is held in collaboration with the ISO Group, and the equipment used for the competition is generously sponsored by Goldbell Equipment Sdn Bhd and Lian Hup Packaging Industries Sdn Bhd. This exclusive content will assess multiple aspects of forklift operators’ techniques while encouraging them to demonstrate their professionalism in adhering to forklift safety practices. The winners of the competition will receive cash prizes.
In addition, LogisWare 2018 features a comprehensive series of industry talks and seminars, including MIDA industry talks, which logistics players are encouraged to attend to learn more about incentives and facilitation in the sector.
Visitors should also take care not to miss the latest sharings on the newly-implemented Sales & Services Tax. There are also comprehensive talks on e-commerce for beginners, as well as those looking for cross-border opportunities. Warehouse owners and manufacturers are cordially invited to attend the talks on Industrial Revolution 4.0 and automation in the logistics and warehousing sector, with experts ready to share their insights.
